After graduating college, I became a scenic designer for a regional theater in Southern Virginia. Occasionally, I use my theater background to design for various film projects in Los Angeles.
Storyboards - Founders All Day IPA
I had the privilege of working on storyboards for a six-spot commercial series launching a rebrand for Founders’ ALL DAY IPA, one of their most popular beverages. The series, inspired by Wes Anderson’s famous one-shot tableaus, featured a cast of casual friends enjoying their ALL DAY IPAs against whimsical backdrops—some of which were two-dimensional.
My background in set design made this project especially enjoyable, given its inherent theatricality.
Production Design - Pioneer
Push More Buttons, a "multidisciplinary creative studio" focusing on "tech and music," approached me to production design the desert shoot portion of Pioneer's OMNIS-DUO portable DJ controller. As a lifelong music collector and DJ myself, I was overjoyed at the opportunity to work on a music related project combining personal and professional interests.
The goal was to imagine a casual setting where friends would gather and party without the burden of dragging equipment and power supplies to the desert.
